Merry Christmas all!  I hope you had a wonderful holiday season with your family and friends.

Today, I want to show you a little gift card holder that Santa put in my kids stockings.  I was inspired (let's face it....I CASED) a project that we did with my friend, Heather, at our club night last month.  But being the crafty girl that I am....I had to tweek it a bit with some help from Marie over at Stamping Inspiration.  Thanks for the inspiration, ladies!

Dasher

Today's card uses an oldie but a goodie set, and one that should be a staple in every Holiday stamp collection.  I love the layering in this card, and not just layering of paper, layering of ink.  I used the stampin off technique as well as some good old fashioned embossing.

Here's the recipe:

Stamps:  Dasher, Lovely As A Tree

Paper:  Soft Suede, Whisper White

Ink:  Soft Suede, Versamark

Embellishments:  Copper Embossing Powder,  White Embossing Powder, Neutral Designer Button, Whisper White Organza Ribbon.

Snowmageddon 2010

Hi all!

Last week was unbelieveable!  Here in London, we had over 100 cm of snow fall.  Not only did the schools close down for 3 days, the city shut down.  It was CRAZY!

Below is a layout I did in MDS.  Bare with me, I'm new to digital scrapbooking.  I used elements from Stampin' Up's Sunny Day Designer Kit.

Welcome!

Welcome to my blog!  Today's post is a layout I did with Stampin' Up's digital scrapbooking program, MDS.  I'm new to the world of digital scrapbooking and was a pretty big skeptic.  After playing with the program and learning some new techniques......I LOVE IT!!  I'll finally be able to so some "catching up".

In this layout I used Christmas Jingle DSP and elements from the Summer Home Designer Kit.
