Can bee's be beautiful?

I'm normally not a fan of bee's....but I am in LOVE with the bee in the Nature Walk stamp set.  The detail is just amazing.  Today's card is inspired by a card Mickey Roberts had made on her blog.  The only thing I switched up was the ribbon.

Here's the recipe:

Stamps:  Nature Walk
Ink:  Not Quite Navy, Old Olive
Paper:  Not Quite Navy, Marina Mist, So Saffron, Botanical Gazette DSP
Accessories:  Scallop Border Punch, Old Olive Striped Grosgrain Ribbon

For the rocker in your life.....

To say I'm disappointed with our recent snowfall, on MARCH 23RD, would be an understatement.  That said, today's sunshine makes it a little easier to digest.  Come on Mother Nature, get with the program!  The calender says spring!

Today's card is one for the tweens, teens or any aged rocker in your life.  I have 2 boys, and I struggle with creating cards that would appeal to the school age boy.  The design of the card was completely CASED by a club card we did with my upline, Heather.  It's an easel card and super simple to make.  I changed the colors and came up with this.

Recipe:

Stamps:  Extreme Elements, Extreme Guitar
Ink:  Pacific Point, Real Red, Old Olive
Paper:  Pacific Point, Real Red, Whisper White, Celebrations DSP
Accessories: Clear Circle BIGZ Die, Scallop Circle BIGZ Die, Brights Brads, Dimensionals, Word Window Punch, Modern Label Punch

AND REMEMBER ONLY 8 MORE SHOPPING DAYS UNTIL THE END OF SALE-A-BRATION!!!

Cardmaking on MDS

Today's card is based on a color challenge.  Unfortunately, I didn't have all the supplies.  Then I remembered......MDS!  MDS stands for My Digital Studio which is Stampin' Up's Digital Scrapbooking softward.  When you purchase it, it comes loaded with all the "ink" to use with stamps, plus tons of Designer paper. Here's the card I made using Pear Pizzazz, Old Olive and Not Quite Navy.  And it also showcases 2 stamp sets that are being offered for FREE (with a $60 order) during Sale-A-Bration.

Recipe:

Stamps:  So Happy for You, Sweet Summer
Ink:  Not Quite Navy, Old Olive, Pear Pizzazz
Paper:  Pear Pizzazz DSP, Whisper White, Not Quite Navy

Who doesn't love a cupcake?

Todays card is just one of the ways to use the Cupcake Punch in the Stampin' Up Occasions Mini.  It was inspired (CASED) from a card my friend, Heather, had made using the Sweet Treat Cups.  This was my version.

Here's the recipe:

Stamps:  Create a Cupcake
Ink:  Melon Mambo
Paper:  Melon Mambo, Tempting Turquoise, Sweet Stitches DSP
Accessories:  Build a Cupcake Punch, Scallop Edge Border Punch, Scallop Trim Border Punch, Brights Buttons

Tangarine Tango Cupcake

The snow is melting, the snow is melting, the snow is melting!!  Can you tell I'm excited about the snow melting?  We are all so ready for spring.  All of us, except the dog.  Seems the success in training had alot to do with the snow.  She's hunting for little patches of snow to do her business on.  Bizarre and funny at the same time!

Today's card is something I cooked up using a color that I have such a hard time using.  Tangarine Tango!  It's bright, it's fun....I have no idea what to pair it with!  Out came the Sweet Stitches DSP and away we went.  I like that I stepped outside my comfort zone.  What do you think?

Recipe
Stamps:  Create a Cupcake
Ink:  Tempting Turquoise, Chocolate Chip
Paper:  Very Vanilla, Tangarine Tango, Tempting Turquoise, Sweet Stitches DSP
Accessories:  Eyelet Border Punch, Modern Label Punch, Word Window Punch, Build a Cupcake Punch, Dazzling Diamonds

Don't forget.......only 14 days left of Sale-A-Bration.  That means with every $60 order you can get a free stamp set.  FREE....that's a huge bang for your buck.  If you've been delaying on an order, contact me before March 31, so you can get great value for you money.

Distressed Nature Walk

Spring is coming....I can feel it!!  So sorry for the lack of posting.  Juggling has not been my strong suit lately :)  Todays card was inspired by a card Mary Fish (from Stampin Pretty) had done.  Here's was elegant and monocromatic.  I wanted to play up the vintage, add some color and distress, distress, distress.  Let me know what you think!

Here's the recipe:

Stamps:  Nature Walk
Ink:  Early Espresso
Paper:  Very Vanilla, Early Espresso, Marina Mist, Botanical Gazette DSP
Accessories:  Victoria Crochet Trim, Marina Mist 1/4" Grograin Ribbon, Fancy Flower Punch, Trio Flower Punch, Basic Pearls
